Dora Marsden (5 March 1882 – 13 December 1960) was the editor of some avant-garde literary journals of her period & an author of philosophical writings. She was an individualist feminist much inspired by the German philosopher Max Stirner.

Her magazine A Freeman of 1911 was renamed A Up to date Freewoman and so within 1914 The Egoist.
